OUR HISTORY
Bilton Welding and Manufacturing Ltd. was founded in 1993 by Robert Bilton, who opened the first manufacturing facility in Innisfail, Alberta. Bilton has grown from a one-welder shop capable of oil patch repairs to one that has over 200 staff members, including equipment designers, engineers, quality control specialists, procurement personnel and all types of trades.
Today, we have 8 facilities in Innisfail and branch offices located in Calgary, equaling an astounding 12 acres. All of our shops are outfitted with the latest manufacturing technologies.
With over 30 years of experience, we have the knowledge and skills to make many improvements to all kinds of standard oil patch equipment. This talent and mindset is the foundation of our ability to deliver custom solutions for you.

QUALITY
FEWER SUBCONTRACTORS. SUPERIOR QUALITY CONTROL.
We use very few subcontractors because not everyone can meet our manufacturing standards. We control as many aspects of the fabrication process in-house as possible to ensure that your required delivery time and our quality standards are met. At Bilton, we complete all of the finishing work for equipment at its Innisfail manufacturing facilities, including applying internal coatings and insulation.
We are one of a few oilfield equipment manufacturers in Western Canada with its own insulation press.
At Bilton, we don't make promises we can’t keep. At the outset of your project, we’ll look at your schedule and discuss the targets we have to hit in order to deliver your equipment on time. Based on our experience, we can tell you exactly what sort of lead times you can expect for certain types of equipment. You can count on us to make every effort to accommodate your timeline.
